The Framework Laptop Numpad has two layers in the default keymap, by default Num Lock is on and the numbered keys and the period (dot) key will output numbers and period (dot).

By pressing the num lock key (leftmost key on the second row from the top of your Numpad) you can switch Num Lock off to access the secondary functions printed on the numbered keys and the period key:

Pressing the Num Lock key again will switch Num Lock back on.
