Linux Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) on 2.8k Display

Variable Refresh Rate on Linux is tested and supported with the GNOME desktop.
For Ubuntu and Fedora using the GNOME desktop, you simply need to open a terminal window, then paste in the following:
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter experimental-features "['variable-refresh-rate']"
Press the enter key, then log out and log back in (or reboot).
Once logged back in, open Settings, browse to Displays and set the refresh rate as shown below.
Press Apply when promoted, now your VRR is active.
Bazzite and Project Bluerfin
For Bazzite (GNOME), all you need to do is open Settings, browse to Displays and set the refresh rate as shown above.
For Project Bluefin, VRR is not enabled/available at this time, but will be coming back soon.
