If you find that your power button is getting triggered without pressing it or is stuck on, make sure that the internal cables in that area are not getting pinched.  After removing the Input Cover following the Input Cover Replacement Guide, check the cables that route near the power button.  The correct routing is in the image below.  The thinner antenna cables should be laying flat against the bottom cover, next to the metal part of the hinge.  The thicker camera cable should be pushed towards the left near the plastic, clear from the metal part of the hinge.  You can use the spudger end (flat plastic back end) of your Framework Screwdriver to carefully adjust the cable positions if needed.
