If you're on Windows, first make sure you have the latest [Framework Laptop Driver Bundle](https://knowledgebase.frame.work/en_us/how-do-i-download-drivers-for-my-framework-laptop-SyHOJGwCu) installed.

If your microphone isn't capturing any audio, make sure that the physical Microphone Privacy Switch to the left of the webcam isn't set to muted.

If your audio input or output devices aren't working, make sure the right devices are set as default.  If you have a monitor or dock plugged in, Windows may attempt to default to using that as your audio input or output.  You can [follow Microsoft's instructions on checking your Windows audio settings](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-sound-problems-in-windows-10-73025246-b61c-40fb-671a-2535c7cd56c8).

If you've confirmed that the devices are selected correctly in Windows, check if your internal audio connectors are connected.  You can follow the [Mainboard Replacement Guide steps](https://guides.frame.work/Guide/Mainboard+Replacement+Guide/79?lang=en#s264) around connecting each connector to confirm that they are correct.
