If you had a Thermal Pad come off of your Framework Laptop 16 over your M.2 SSD slots, this will show you where this Thermal Pad came from and where you will need to re-attach it to.

This long Thermal Pad comes from your Midplate. In the image below, it shows where the Thermal Pad is on the back of your Midplate. (_The blue backing material may or may not be still be attached_)

Once you attach it back in place, make sure the blue backing material has been removed so the Thermal Pad will have contact with your M.2 Storage Drive.
