# Updating USB-PD firmware on your Graphics Module

If you are seeing the screen above, it means your Framework Laptop 16 has detected that the PD controller firmware version on the Graphics Module graphics card does not match what the BIOS expects. It is important that the BIOS and PD versions are in sync so that your platform hardware works as expected.

  

**Temporarily you can skip this error by doing a quick press of the power button. This will continue the booting process.**

  

This mismatch can occur because the most recent BIOS update was run with the Graphics Module disconnected, or you installed a Graphics Module that has older firmware on it.

To resolve this issue, **please run the BIOS update again with the Graphics Module connected**.
