M.2 2230 WiFi modules supporting PCI-e, USB, or CNVi and up to WiFi 6E should work. The modules we sell in the Framework Marketplace are tested for compatibility. We recommend using one of:

*   Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (Gig+), 2230, 2x2 AX R2 (6GHz)+BT, No vPro®
*   Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (Gig+), 2230, 2x2 AX R2 (6GHz)+BT, vPro®
*   Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (Gig+), 2230, 2x2 AX+BT, No vPro®
*   Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 (Gig+), 2230, 2x2 AX+BT, vPro®
*   Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (Gig+), 2230, 2x2 AX+BT, No vPro®
*   Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (Gig+), 2230, 2x2 AX+BT, vPro®

After installing one of the modules listed, make sure to install [the Framework Laptop Driver Bundle](https://knowledgebase.frame.work/en_us/how-do-i-download-drivers-for-my-framework-laptop-SyHOJGwCu).

## Note for Linux users

Support for AX210 requires kernel 5.12 or newer, though we have seen reports of regressions in 5.13.  Check the [Linux sub-forum](https://community.frame.work/c/diy-edition/linux/91) in the Framework Community for the latest guidance on compatibility.
